There are so many ways to support child welfare survivors and we believe that everyone brings something valuable. Whether you're a student, a survivor, a creative, or someone looking to build community, there's space for you here.
Volunteering with CCWS isn’t just about what you’ve done on paper , we care about who you are, what you care about, and how you show up. If you're interested in working alongside a team that leads with care, and believes in collective liberation & responsibility, you’re in the right place.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for folks who share our principles and want to contribute to a community built on trust, care, and accountability. You don’t have to think exactly like us, in fact we welcome different perspectives, but it’s important that we’re in alignment around the core principles of CCWS.
We recommend taking a moment to check out our About page to read our guiding principles before applying.
We especially welcome individuals who are:
Passionate and committed to community work
Self-reflective and open to growth
Empathetic and grounded in care
Creative and collaborative
Experienced through life, not just academics or work
Survivors or people with a personal connection to this work
Interested in sharing their knowledge and learning from others
